Christine Presley
Christine Presley is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. She is a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT), Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and is trained in EMDR as well as Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).
She is dedicated to helping individuals heal from the devastating impact of betrayal through infidelity and/or other hidden compulsive sexual behaviors, childhood traumas, neglect and abuse, as well as other debilitating symptoms such as anxieties and depression.
Her approach is grounded in the belief that symptoms, emotions, and behavioral coping strategies are often adaptations rather than pathology. She helps clients understand how their nervous systems have adapted to survive overwhelming experiences and recognize the wisdom behind these survival responses. Christine believes healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about reconnecting with the parts of ourselves that were lost, hidden, or disconnected in the process of surviving. In that reconnection, what felt stuck begins to reorganize, and we return to a more coherent, aligned, and embodied sense of self.
Through curiosity, Christine creates a compassionate space where clients can process painful experiences, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves. She is passionate about helping individuals move beyond survival, develop greater self-trust, and cultivate lives marked by authenticity, empowerment, connection, and freedom.
Christine’s greatest joy is her two incredible adult children. When she’s not working, Christine is usually dreaming about her next adventure, tending to her plants, catching a concert or theater show, or cheering on her favorite Kansas City sports teams. She loves being with friends and family, sharing stories, laughing, and diving deep into conversations about life, love, faith, and everything in between.
